At the Hospitality fair in Riva del Garda, the second edition of the DI OGNUNO project took place, dedicated to inclusive hospitality and HORECA accessibility. The event highlighted the importance of designing spaces that cater to the diverse needs of guests, with particular attention to the breakfast area. This innovative space was conceived to overcome architectural barriers through practical solutions such as adjustable tables and clear signage, while also promoting sensory inclusion through balanced acoustics and appropriate lighting.
The General Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, Alessandra Albarelli, emphasized how the project aims to demonstrate that aesthetically pleasing environments can also be functional and inclusive. During the fair, visitors had the opportunity to explore two areas representing comfort and discomfort, showcasing the differences between positive and negative experiences. With a focus on Universal Design, the initiative seeks to inspire hospitality industry operators to broaden their customer base by offering accessible services for all.
