In recent hours, the project “Lake Garda Wines” has been officially presented, an initiative for wine promotion aimed at uniting the consortia of the Lake Garda area, including Lugana, Custoza, Garda Doc, Valtènesi, and Bardolino. The presidents of the five consortia, who were present in Milan to sign the agreement, emphasized the importance of enhancing the wines of Lake Garda through a synergistic collaboration that highlights the quality of local productions. Thanks to the unique microclimate and the winemaking tradition of the region, the project aims to showcase the territorial and cultural specificities associated with these wines.
The intent to form a united system represents a positive model for addressing the challenges of the ever-evolving global market. The new promotional image will be unveiled in the coming days during “Vinexpo – Wine Paris 2025,” one of the most significant events in the sector, which will take place in Paris from February 10 to 12. On this occasion, numerous companies will participate as part of a consolidated promotional entity under the brand “Wines of Lake Garda.”
