Salò has recently launched two new strategic plans to promote sustainable mobility and public green spaces, as announced by the Municipal Administration. The first initiative involves updating the Urban Traffic Master Plan (PGTU), which had not been revised for over twenty years. This plan includes a series of actions, such as an in-depth analysis of traffic flows, the enhancement of pedestrian and cyclist connections, simulations to evaluate future scenarios, and improvements in road safety.
In parallel, a Public Green Space Plan has also been introduced, aimed at enhancing the city’s green areas in a sustainable manner. The initiatives include detailed analyses of the current state of green spaces and design proposals that seek to improve the aesthetic and functional quality of municipal greenery. Both plans aim to ensure effective resource management and promote a more livable urban environment for the citizens of Salò.
