The Valtènesi region celebrates the new vintage of rosé wine on February 14, a symbolic date that combines romantic love with the promotion of culinary excellence. This year, the winemakers from the Brescia Riviera of Lake Garda present the 2024 vintage, characterized by a harvest with low yields and favorable weather conditions that have resulted in light and delicate wines. With approximately 2 million bottles produced, Valtènesi is preparing to make its mark internationally, participating in events such as Wine Paris and exhibitions in New York in collaboration with Gambero Rosso and Slow Wine.
The promotion of Valtènesi as a rosé wine finds fertile ground in France, the homeland of the world’s finest rosés. Paolo Pasini, president of the Valtènesi Consortium, emphasizes the region’s natural predisposition for this type of wine, which is capable of expressing elegance and character. On March 3 and 4, the winemakers will bring their passion and hospitality to New York to showcase not only their wines but also the beauty of the territory that produces them.
