Today, Saturday, February 15th, writer Ilaria Gaspari met with students from the third and fourth classes of the Fermi High School in Salò as part of the “Invitation to Reading” project. During the event, the philosophy scholar, whose academic career includes studies at the Normale di Pisa and the Sorbonne in Paris, presented her book “The Secret Life of Emotions,” in which she explores the theme of emotions through the lens of thinkers from Plato to Schopenhauer, integrating personal reflections that invite readers to reconsider their emotional lives.
Ilaria Gaspari is known for her publications with publishers such as Einaudi and Guanda, as well as for her work in creative writing at Scuola Holden. She has also produced several podcasts and a radio program on Rai Radio 3. With a literary output ranging from the novel “Ethics of the Aquarium” to her recent work “Reputation,” her oeuvre continues to captivate enthusiasts of philosophy and literature.
