The Gruppo Bossoni Brescia Art Marathon is set to take center stage in sports events in Lombardy, launching the “Cuori Olimpici” project by the Region. The marathon will take place on Sunday, March 9, and will mark the first of a series of twelve events celebrating the cultural, sporting, and gastronomic excellence of the Lombardy provinces in anticipation of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Loretta Pagliarini from the ASD Rosa Running Team expressed her pride in this recognition, emphasizing the importance of promoting running as a fundamental means for well-being.
The event features five races, including a full marathon of 42.195 km, a half marathon of 21.097 km, and the BCC Brescia 10k. The festivities also include the SPORTLANDEasy Run 10k and the Family Walking event of 5 km, both starting and finishing in Piazza Loggia. Additionally, on Saturday, March 8, primary school children will participate in the Tomorrow Runners, a playful motor race dedicated to the little ones.
