Nago Torbole is preparing to celebrate Easter with the completion of work on two sections of the Lake Garda Cycle Path, a waterfront redevelopment project aimed at enhancing the area for both residents and tourists. The initiative, funded by the province with over 4 million euros, includes new green spaces and an aesthetic covering around the new bridge. Work on the central third section is scheduled for September and October, when tourist traffic is expected to decrease, ensuring that the area remains accessible during the summer.
Mayor Gianni Morandi highlighted that one of the most significant sections nearing completion connects the boat dock to the entrance of Torbole. The redevelopment also involves replacing the pavement with porphyry and revising the parking system, while a new traffic layout will separate pedestrians and cyclists to enhance safety. Additionally, the lakeside promenade will be expanded by approximately 3 meters, providing an even more breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.
