Giulia Scaroni, a young and talented pastry chef from Tremosine, has won the title of Italian Pastry Champion during the ninth edition of the Italian Culinary Championships, held in Rimini from February 16 to 18. Giulia excelled in the K2 senior category “Restaurant Dessert,” impressing the jury with her elaborate plated dessert. Her creation, a hazelnut and citrus cheesecake, featured Philadelphia and vanilla mousse, a citrus insert in various textures, and a crispy wafer.
Her success was the result of intense preparatory work with the support of industry experts, including coaches Davide Selogna and Andrea Monastero. Giulia emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving this milestone: “I was alone in the box, but without my team, this result would not have been possible.” With this victory, Giulia Scaroni not only claims the gold in her category but also becomes the Absolute Champion of Italy for the K2 category.
