During the weekend from March 2 to 4, 2025, the first edition of Sol² Expo will take place at Veronafiere, an international event dedicated to olive oil. This event represents a significant opportunity for industry operators, as it brings together not only Italian producers and associations but also international players, in a context aimed at enhancing the entire olive oil supply chain and its commercial potential. Federico Bricolo, the president of Veronafiere, emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges posed by climate change and enhancing market analysis through innovative tools like the new Sol² Expo Observatory.
The exhibition aims to provide a comprehensive experience related to olive oil, including technologies for processing and cosmetic products. A distinctive feature will be the focus on by-products of the supply chain, highlighting how materials currently regarded as waste can become valuable resources in the food and cosmetic sectors. With over 400 cultivars present in Italy, Sol² Expo seeks to establish itself as a reference point for olive oil excellence and local food products, promoting a diverse range of offerings to attract both professional and consumer audiences.
