A fire broke out on Thursday, March 6, on the roof of a building located in Cunettone di Salò, prompting the swift intervention of four teams from the fire department. The flames affected a section of the roof near two chimneys, one of which was active. According to the Command, the heat generated by the combustion facilitated the spread of the fire, impacting the wooden structure and the roof insulation.
Thanks to the prompt response of the teams and the use of retardant foams, the damage was contained. During the operations, part of the roof covering was removed to allow for effective extinguishing efforts and to bring the fire under control. Subsequently, the building was secured to prevent any further risks.
