Clarity on the payment methods for the tourist tax in Moniga del Garda
The Municipality of Moniga del Garda has recently provided clarification on the payment methods for the tourist tax. In response to an email sent by Airbnb on February 9, 2024, it was specified that no agreement has been signed with Airbnb for the management of the tourist tax. Therefore, it is not possible to make the payment through this platform.
It is worth noting that, according to the Municipal Regulation for the application of the Tourist Tax, accommodation facilities are required to submit a declaration by the 10th day of the following month, containing the amount to be paid, the number and nationality of the guests staying in the previous month, including any exemptions. This declaration must be submitted electronically to the Municipality of Moniga del Garda.
Subsequently, the manager of the accommodation facility must make the payment of the amounts collected as tourist tax within seven days from the declaration. There are two available methods: bank transfer to the current account of the Municipal Treasury of the Municipality of Moniga del Garda (IBAN code: IT 13 N 02008 54463000105549026) or other payment methods that may be activated by the Municipality itself, such as telematic payment through PagoPA or F24.
