Sirmione is set to bloom with “Tulipanomania,” an event that celebrates the arrival of spring. The peninsula will host over 45,000 tulips, featuring varieties such as Black Hero, Candy Frills, and Princess Irene, thanks to the collaboration with Count Giuseppe Inga Sigurtà, renowned for the Parco Giardino in Valeggio sul Mincio. The gardens along Viale Marconi, the Scaligero Castle, and Piazza Carducci will be adorned with a selection of multicolored tulips, offering residents and tourists a unique visual experience.
Mayor Luisa Lavelli emphasized the significance of the event in enhancing the beauty of the area, while Count Sigurtà expressed his joy in bringing this project to Sirmione, a place filled with childhood memories for him. “Tulipanomania” not only enriches the local green spaces but also invites visitors to capture special moments in this charming town.
