With message 1108/2024 of March 14th, the National Social Security Institute (INPS) announced a new feature for the Universal Child Allowance (AUU). This new feature, called “Patronato Substitution,” allows the applicant to confer the mandate of assistance and representation to a patronato institute for an ongoing application.
To use this new feature, the citizen can directly contact the new patronato or the territorial structures of the INPS. It is important that the applicant’s contact information is correctly entered and updated in the “Contacts” section of the MyINPS reserved area on the institutional website. If there are any issues with the contacts, the citizen can contact the relevant territorial INPS structure to request the substitution.
Once the operation is successfully completed, a PEC (certified email) will be sent to the previous patronato institute to inform them that a new entity has taken over the management of the AUU application.
This new feature simplifies and speeds up the process for citizens who wish to change patronato during the AUU application procedure. It will now be easier and more convenient to switch to a new patronato without having to start the application from scratch.
It is important to note that this feature only applies to the management of the AUU application and does not affect other benefits and services offered by the INPS. You can find more information about this news here.
