Today, Saturday, April 19, Riva del Garda will host the event “Ovi duri e radic”, organized by the Club La Bacionela in Piazza delle Erbe. At noon, with the twelfth toll of the Renga, the bell of the Apponale civic tower will signal the start of the free distribution of over two thousand hard-boiled eggs, radicchio, and fresh wine. This event represents a much-anticipated Easter tradition for the local community.
Additionally, this year will feature an exhibition of artistic eggs created by Giorgio Amistadi, an artist who is a member of the club. The pieces, hand-painted on naturally shaped stones resembling eggs, will be available for sale with a voluntary donation; the proceeds will be donated to charity. The exhibition is set to begin at 10 AM.
