A double accident occurred on the A4 motorway in the early hours of the morning, causing significant disruptions to vehicle traffic between Desenzano and Brescia Est. The first incident took place around 5:30 AM near Lonato, where a vehicle overturned while heading towards Verona. Two men, aged 37 and 27, were transported in yellow code to the hospitals in Desenzano and Brescia due to their injuries.
About two hours later, a second accident occurred near Calcinato, involving a car and a van in a rear-end collision around 8 AM. In this case, the two occupants, aged 41 and 54, did not suffer serious consequences; one of them was transferred in green code to the Poliambulanza in Brescia. The accidents caused significant delays in traffic on the A4 and on alternative routes, with queues reaching up to eight kilometers.
