The access regulation in Sirmione for the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) in the historic center has recently been updated with a new ordinance that will take effect from April 7 to October 13, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance the livability of the area, especially during the tourist season, and includes an expansion of the days and time slots for pedestrianization compared to the previous year. Sundays in June, July, August, and September will be fully pedestrianized, along with specific dates such as April 20 and 21, May 1, and August 15, with restrictions in place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Municipal Administration has closely collaborated with local associations to balance the needs of residents and visitors. During pedestrianization days, residents will still be able to exit the historic center by car, provided they notify the Local Police. The new regulation aims to facilitate access to services for guests of accommodation facilities and improve traffic organization in the heart of the city.
