The Lombardy Region has allocated nearly , as part of a total investment of approximately 11 million euros aimed at 1,053 companies that have applied for agri-environmental interventions under the CAP 2023-2027. The announcement was made by the regional assessor for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests, Alessandro Beduschi, who confirmed that among the beneficiaries are as many as 142 businesses located in the province of Brescia. These funds aim to promote the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, contributing to the protection of water and soil quality, the preservation of biodiversity, and the enhancement of the agricultural landscape.
The resources will be allocated to various lines of intervention, including integrated production and reduced tillage techniques, with particular attention also given to the active management of ecological infrastructures and the breeding of local endangered breeds. “These results demonstrate the consistency of our regional strategy,” Beduschi stated, highlighting the commitment to supporting agricultural enterprises in Lombardy through significant investments until 2027.
