An event dedicated to Alpine architecture will take place on Thursday, November 14, at 6 PM at the headquarters of the Order of Architects PPC of Brescia, located at Via San Martino della Battaglia, 18. This event, part of the Architecture & Critique series, will feature architect Luca Gibello, a renowned architectural historian and critic, as well as the director of «Il Giornale dell’Architettura». This second appointment follows a meeting held at the end of October and is open to the community to explore the challenges and opportunities related to architecture in the Alpine regions.
During the seminar, Gibello will discuss crucial themes such as the revitalization of internal areas, the importance of the territory as an experimental laboratory, and the relationship between memory preservation and tourism. Recent architectural projects that highlight innovative solutions in the mountain context will be presented. Participation is free for all interested parties, with registration available via email. Registered architects will be able to earn professional development credits for continuing education.
