During the months of May and June 2024, the city of Sirmione will come alive with an event that combines local food and wine delights with good music: the Aperitivo Concerts. This series of events, spread over four dates, will offer music and wine lovers a unique experience on two of the area’s most charming beaches, Lido di Lugana and Lido Galeazzi.
The initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Municipality of Sirmione and the Civic Music School of Sirmione. Each event promises an evening of quality entertainment with diverse musical accompaniment and tastings of selected wines from the region.
The first event is scheduled for May 2nd at Lido Galeazzi, with the Dusk Duo taking the stage with their interpretation of Pop & Soul Music. The concert will begin at 6:00 pm, providing the perfect musical backdrop for the start of the evening.
Next up is the Trio Gelmetti, known for their performances of Standards and Evergreen, who will perform on May 16th at Lido di Lugana. Once again, the start time is set for 6:00 pm, allowing participants to enjoy the music with the sunset over the lake as a backdrop.
On June 6th, at Lido Galeazzi, it will be the turn of the Incoscienti suonatori Jones with their tribute to De Andrè in the program “De Andrè Divino”. The music of one of Italy’s greatest singer-songwriters will be the heart of this evening.
Concluding the series, on June 20th at Lido di Lugana, the audience will be able to witness the Elena Sbalchiero Jazz Quartet in a “Tribute to Nat King Cole”, an opportunity to immerse themselves in the timeless melodies of jazz.
