In Desenzano del Garda, the second phase of construction for a new nursery school on Via Durighello has officially begun, which will complement the existing municipal educational services. This phase follows the completion of the first part, focused on the seismic upgrade of the building as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The new interventions will involve an architectural and system renovation, aiming to transform the structure into a modern and functional environment capable of accommodating up to 60 children, backed by an investment of 350,000 euros.
Public Works Councillor Giovanni Maiolo emphasized that the project aims to expand the educational offerings for local families. The new facility will not only ensure safety but will also be innovative and sustainable. Among the planned improvements are reimagined indoor spaces designed to facilitate learning and play, as well as new areas such as a multipurpose room and a fully equipped kitchen. The renovations will also include modern climate control systems and an upgrade of the outdoor areas to incorporate green elements into the surrounding landscape.
