From April 26th to 28th, the 38th edition of Arcobonsai and the 25th edition of Arcofiori will take place in Arco. These events have become a reference point in the world of bonsai and local floriculture.
Arcobonsai is considered one of the most important bonsai events in Italy and has become a fixed appointment on the international calendar. Over 300 participants and more than 60 traders will take part in the event, which attracts around four thousand visitors every year. Arcobonsai has received the patronage of the Consulate General of Japan in Italy, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and the Municipality of Arco. Furthermore, it is the only European club to have hosted the convention of the European Bonsai Association three times.
During the three days of the event, various activities will be organized, including exhibitions, demonstrations, the Arcobonsai Trophy, and the bonsai and suiseki market. The Natura Amica farmers’ market of Coldiretti will also be present.
The program includes a series of lectures, demonstrations, and workshops by Italian and foreign experts. Topics such as pre-summer agronomic preparation, the integration between bonsai and suiseki, aesthetics, and bonsai design will be addressed, just to name a few.
The event will conclude on Sunday afternoon with the annual Ubi assembly and the closing ceremony.
