Over the years, Arcobonsai has become a reference point in the bonsai world in Europe and is considered by many to be the most important bonsai event in Italy. Its long history, which began in 1985, has helped solidify its reputation.
The event attracts an average of over 300 participants from around the world, with over 60 specialized traders, and draws the attention of approximately 4000 visitors who admire the exhibitions on display. The prestige of the event is underscored by the sponsorship of the Consulate General of Japan in Italy, the Autonomous Province of Trento, and the Municipality of Arco. In addition, Italian and foreign experts, as well as university professors, regularly participate in the event.
The international relevance of Arcobonsai has been further confirmed by the choice to host the European Bonsai Association Convention three times – the only European association – in 2000, 2005, and 2018. Furthermore, the event has hosted seven editions of the UBI (Italian Bonsai Association) National Congress.
From April 26th to 28th, the 38th edition of Arcobonsai and the 25th edition of ArcoFiori, a local floriculture market exhibition, will take place along Viale delle Palme and Viale delle Magnolie in Arco.
The event is organized by the Arcobonsai Club Garda Trentino, in collaboration with Assocentro. The synergy between these two entities allows bonsai enthusiasts and visitors to enjoy a high-quality event, rich in content and interesting ideas.
Arcobonsai represents an unmissable opportunity to immerse oneself in the fascinating world of bonsai, discover the latest trends, and deepen cultivation techniques. The event also offers the opportunity to interact with industry experts, share experiences and knowledge, as well as purchase specific plants and equipment.
All that remains is to mark the event dates on the calendar and prepare for an unforgettable experience in the picturesque setting of Lake Garda. You can find more information about the event here.
