A 23-year-old resident of Vestone was arrested on April 7 by the Carabinieri of the Salò Company for drug dealing involving hashish. During a routine check on the streets of Vobarno, the military noticed the young man’s agitated behavior, which raised suspicions. The officers then searched his backpack, discovering approximately 120 grams of hashish already divided into doses and ready for retail sale. Additionally, around 900 euros in cash were found in his bag, a sum for which the young man could not provide a plausible explanation.
Following the arrest, the young man was subjected to a direct trial. The judge imposed an obligation to reside in the Municipality of Vestone and a ban on leaving during nighttime hours, while investigations into the case continue.
