Three men have been arrested by the Carabinieri in Peschiera, Castiglione, and Desenzano in connection with a robbery that occurred on August 9 at a money transfer service in Peschiera del Garda. The individuals, an Italian and two Brazilians aged between 33 and 50, were identified through the analysis of security camera footage and fingerprints found on a helmet used during the assault. During the robbery, the owner of the business was attacked by one of the assailants armed with a gun, who struck him on the head, making off with approximately 12,000 euros.
The arrests were made following a precautionary custody order issued against them. The three had committed the crime while fleeing in a car stolen a few weeks earlier. Currently, the arrested individuals have been placed at the disposal of the judiciary for further legal proceedings.
