Another eventful morning this morning, April 17th, on the Gardesana road north of Gargnano, due to the passage of a truck that, according to the no-entry signs placed at the entrance of Rezzato, should not have been in that area.
Upon reaching the entrance of the Acli tunnel, the first of the three outdated arched tunnels inaugurated in 1931 that lead to the junction with the SP38 towards Tignale, the driver of the vehicle was forced to reverse, with the assistance of a patrol from the Gargnano Local Police who arrived at the scene.
Unfortunately, these maneuvers also affected the cars passing by: they were forced to reverse for hundreds of meters until the junction with the 45 bis road towards the Muslone district, in order to allow the truck to turn around in the adjacent square and head back south towards the lake.
As always happens in these situations north of Gargnano, the traffic on the Gardesana road experienced heavy disruptions for over half an hour, with queues forming in both directions.
