An important informational evening will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 8:30 PM at the Toffoli Hall in Valeggio sul Mincio, organized by the Committee for the Defense of the Territory Quaderni. The event will focus on the dangers associated with asbestos landfills in the areas of Valeggio and Villafranca di Verona, providing an update on the current status of the projects proposed for these landfills. During the meeting, future impacts stemming from the update of the Regional Quarry Activity Plan (PRAC) and the ecological role of aquifers in the region will also be discussed.
Among the speakers will be Edoardo Cavallini, a PhD in Ecology from the University of Parma, who will help clarify the developments and forecasts for the area.
