Roberta Chiesa, General Director of ASST Garda, emphasizes the importance of addressing the issue of violence against women: “The issue of violence and the violence against women is unfortunately an integral part of our daily lives. Now more than ever, it is essential to inform girls and women of all ages that any form of violence must be reported.”
Chiesa also highlights the availability of anti-violence networks and associations ready to offer support to those in need: “All women who turn to our healthcare and social-healthcare facilities can find, in addition to a warm welcome, appropriate responses to escape from violence.”
