A robbery attempt took place on Saturday evening, October 27, at the Rivalta Hotel in Salò. Two individuals armed with a pistol threatened the night porter to hand over the cash from the register. However, thanks to the calmness and composure of the employee, the robbers abandoned their plan after a few minutes of high tension, fleeing quickly from the hotel.
The hotel staff immediately alerted the carabinieri, who are now reviewing the security camera footage to identify the perpetrators. It is suspected that the duo may be linked to a similar incident that occurred a few weeks ago. The carabinieri are also investigating a possible accomplice who was waiting outside the hotel during the robbery attempt.
