The Avesani Verona Christmas Run is set to transform the historic center of Verona into a festive Christmas stage on Sunday, December 15, featuring a non-competitive run or walk of 5 or 10 kilometers. This event, organized by Gaac 2007 Veronamarathon Asd in collaboration with the City of Verona, has become a cherished tradition that attracts participants from 25 countries and hundreds of international visitors. With the presence of five thousand Santa Clauses, the atmosphere will be lively and engaging, enhanced by Christmas music accompanying the runners along the route.
The start and finish of the event will be located in Piazza Bra, in front of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia. Athletes will run down Via Roma and pass iconic locations such as Piazza San Zeno and the Ponte Risorgimento, before reuniting with participants in the shorter distance. During the event, DJ Sundree will kick off the musical celebrations, followed by the Merysse Band along the route and DJ Alex Armani for a final toast to the festivities. Registrations will remain open online until December 12.
