Three young men from Bardolino, Thomas Baio, Roberto Butturini, and Manfred Lizio, are about to embark on an exciting Dakar adventure that will take them 10,000 kilometers across Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal. The departure is set for Saturday, January 25, when the three motorcyclists will head to Genoa to board a ship bound for Tangier, from where their journey will begin, following the historic tracks of the “Paris-Dakar” rally.
The young riders will face a varied route that will test their skills and their machines: Thomas will ride a Yamaha Ténéré 600, Roberto will use a KTM 950 Adventure, and Manfred will be at the helm of a Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Each motorcycle will be equipped with spare parts and materials necessary to traverse the desert completely independently, without any external support.
