In Bardolino, a recent housing survey has revealed a significant demand for residences among local residents, highlighting the need for subsidized housing. Residents had the opportunity to complete the questionnaire until February 28th, resulting in 72 requests for home ownership through subsidized housing, alongside 48 requests for rent-to-own or affordable housing options through social housing. The expressed needs primarily concern the acquisition of first homes for children within families, as well as other requirements related to family changes.
Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized that these requests confirm the urgent need for intervention in the public and subsidized housing sector, following years of minimal initiatives by previous administrations. Bertasi reiterated the administration’s commitment to creating housing opportunities that would allow families to stay in or return to the community, thereby ensuring a stable future for young people who wish to establish their families in Bardolino.
