A 41-year-old Norwegian base jumper was injured in an incident that occurred Wednesday morning in Riva del Garda, following a violent impact with the ground in a field on Via Marone. The man had jumped from Monte Tombio when he encountered difficulties during the landing phase, culminating in a crash that resulted in a spinal injury. Emergency services were alerted around 11:30 AM, and medical personnel from 118, along with volunteer firefighters and carabinieri, responded to the scene.
An air ambulance was dispatched to transport the base jumper to the hospital in critical condition.
