A tragic work accident that occurred in Bedizzole in December 2022 resulted in the death of 62-year-old worker Maurizio Rocchi, who was struck by a load of gravel while inside the bed of a truck. The owner of the Panni quarry, involved in the incident during loading operations with an excavator, has recently been acquitted of the charge of involuntary manslaughter with a not guilty verdict.
