The “Donate a Blanket” campaign has begun in Verona, promoted by LNDC Animal Protection, in response to the arrival of intense cold that affects animals housed in shelters. The initiative aims to collect blankets to ensure adequate shelter for abandoned dogs and cats, who particularly suffer during the winter months. The association’s President, Piera Rosati, emphasized the importance of this gesture, stating that donating a blanket not only provides warmth to the animals but also warms the hearts of those who choose to contribute.
LNDC Animal Protection invites the community to bring their old blankets to the nearest shelters. Accommodations such as hotels and bed & breakfasts can also participate in the initiative by donating unused comforters. Those who are unable to visit in person can support the association with a small donation through the official website. This simple act can make a significant difference in the lives of animals waiting to find a family.
