Davide Bottarelli and Nives Carobbio triumphed without rivals at the 5 Castelli Wine Trail, recently held in Bedizzole. Despite the adverse weather conditions in the days leading up to the event, Atletica Bedizzole organized the race on a new 20 km course, which served as the venue for the provincial Fidal short trail championships. Bottarelli, representing Atletica Valtrompia, finished solo with a time of 1:14:57, followed by Michele Massetti and Marco Zanoni.
In the women’s competition, Nives Carobbio from Atletica Paratico secured the provincial title with a time of 1:33:05. Vanessa Corsini and Roberta Illini completed the podium with times of 1:36:45 and 1:39:59, respectively. The most represented clubs at the event were Atletica Paratico, Brescia Marathon, and Atletica Gavardo 90.
