Great participation in the third amateur Burraco tournament dedicated to Giacomo Sartori, which took place in the public hall named after him in Riva del Garda. Giacomo Sartori, a founding member of the Vivirione association and its first president, was an important figure in the Due Giugno neighborhood, working towards social integration in the area. Thanks to his charisma and ability to engage people, he organized numerous events that brought together people of different ages, nationalities, and cultures.
In 2022, seven years after the inauguration of the public hall dedicated to him, the board and volunteers of the Vivirione association wanted to remember him with this Burraco tournament. The goal was to involve the entire neighborhood in a moment of play and sharing, in line with Giacomo Sartori’s commitment to promoting social and community activities. This year, sixty people participated in the third edition of the tournament.
The pair composed of Mariuccia Faustin and Emanuela Mora won the “Memorial Giacomo Sartori” amateur tournament. Daniela Dallapè and Jenni Eccher came in second place, Enrico Angelini and Alberta Zanoni in third, Giancarla Rosa and Clara Stringher in fourth, while Cesarina Maceri and Mirella Perini took fifth place. The deputy mayor and councilor for culture for the municipal administration attended the award ceremony.
The president of Vivirione, Rosita Carbone, emphasized that the real victory was for the community, which came together in a moment of carefree socialization. She also highlighted the importance of participation and volunteering, with many people involved in organizing the event. Finally, she emphasized the value of the memory of Giacomo Sartori, a special person who left an indelible mark in the hearts of everyone.
