Starting from April 2nd, the Bus & Go service in Alto Garda will be back, offering a flexible transportation option for guests and residents of the municipalities of Arco, Riva del Garda, and Nago-Torbole. The minibusses will be operational every day from 9 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 1 am, except in mountain areas. Additionally, a new stop has been added in Riva del Garda on via Ardaro, near the military base.
The service will be managed by three minibusses, two with 18 seats and one with 12 seats optimized for transporting people with disabilities. To book the service, users can use the Bus & Go app available for iOS and Android. Through the app, users can select the desired time and stops from those of public transportation within the involved municipalities. The cost of the service is 2 euros per trip, to be paid directly on board. However, the service is free for Garda Guest Card holders or Trentino Trasporti subscribers.
A new feature this year is that the Bus & Go system will be able to direct users to use traditional bus lines if it coincides with the requested time and route. This will optimize the minibusses’ journeys and reduce waiting times.
Silvio Rigatti, the president of Apt Garda Dolomiti, commented on the great success of the second edition of Bus & Go, which recorded 34,000 passengers. He also emphasized that this initiative is in line with Apt Garda Dolomiti’s strategic goals of becoming an increasingly sustainable and cutting-edge destination for tourists and residents.
