A road accident occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 15, around 5 PM, on Via Giuseppe Zanardelli in Villanuova sul Clisi, involving two cars. During the impact, a 45-year-old woman sustained minor injuries and was promptly assisted by paramedics who arrived on the scene with an ambulance. She was subsequently transported in green code to the hospital in Gavardo.
The Local Police of Valsabbia intervened to initiate an investigation and reconstruct the dynamics of the accident. It has been reported that the driver responsible for the rear-end collision quickly left the scene without offering assistance to the injured woman. Officers are now working to identify the fleeing motorist by reviewing footage from surveillance cameras and gathering any testimonies from bystanders who were present at the time of the incident.
