A new case of car fraud has emerged in Vestone, with two individuals reported after being caught in the act while attempting to deceive a motorist. The incident, which took place yesterday, is part of a series of similar reports that have affected the Valle Sabbia in recent weeks. The criminals, using the common tactic of pretending to be out of fuel and money, were apprehended by local police following a report from a passerby.
During a search of the vehicle with a British license plate, officers discovered that the two had cash on hand and also enough fuel to continue their journey. Investigations revealed that the suspects may be responsible for similar scams in nearby municipalities, where reports of the same modus operandi have been recorded. Both individuals were fingerprinted and reported, while authorities continue to investigate to identify additional victims involved in the scam.
