In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Mantua and Castiglione delle Stiviere companies have increased their patrols in the area with the aim of preventing and combating predatory crimes and drug-related offenses among young people. The operations have focused on main squares, roads, green areas, and near school entrances, where state exams were taking place.
During these special patrols conducted on Tuesday, June 25th, a 25-year-old man in Castiglione delle Stiviere was identified who had been wanted for arrest for several days. The individual was promptly apprehended by the Carabinieri.
In Mantua, the operations resulted in the referral of a young man in his early twenties for carrying a weapon without justification. The young man was found in possession of a knife with a 7.5 cm blade.
Additionally, in Mantua, a 22-year-old foreigner was reported to the Prefecture after being caught with 4.33 grams of hashish. The illegal substance was confiscated administratively.
