Gardaland and ULSS 9 Scaligera have recently signed an agreement to promote inclusive tourism in Castelnuovo del Garda, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This project, supported by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Veneto Region, aims to make the tourist experience more accessible for people with disabilities and their families. Gardaland is committed to implementing specific measures to further enhance the park’s accessibility, ensuring safe and inclusive experiences for all visitors.
Among the planned initiatives is the creation of protocols dedicated to guests with neuro-functional disabilities, along with the drafting of a technical document that will establish clear guidelines regarding the accessibility of attractions. The CEO of Gardaland emphasized the importance of inclusivity as a core value of the company, highlighting the ongoing efforts to provide detailed information and discounted rates. This collaboration represents a significant step towards social and inclusive tourism that could serve as a model for other parks in Italy.
