Salò-based director Stefano Cipani has announced a casting call for the lead female role in his upcoming film, which will take place at the Vobarno Civic Library, located at Piazza Marina Corradini 6. Auditions are scheduled for Friday, August 23, and Saturday, August 24, from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM. They are open to women aged between 40 and 50, of African and/or South American descent, who speak both Italian and their native language.
The film is produced by Gaumont Italia and Paco Cinematografica, with shooting set to begin on September 23. Cipani has already received accolades for his previous works, such as “Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri” and the Netflix series “Fedeltà.” Recently, the director married Anna Pennella, an art director originally from Roè Volciano.
