The celebrations for the Patron Saint San Martino have officially begun in Peschiera del Garda, with events scheduled from today, Friday, November 8, until Monday, November 11. The festivities will kick off at 6:00 PM with the opening of the stands in Piazza Maestro G. Battistoni at the Central Port. On Saturday, November 9, activities will move to Piazzale Betteloni at 9:30 AM, where “The History of the Associations” will take place, followed by the opening of the stands and the traditional Palio di San Martino at 3:00 PM in the Canale di Mezzo.
The celebrations will continue on Sunday, November 10, and Monday, November 11, when a Holy Mass is scheduled for 6:30 PM. To conclude the festivities, a spectacular pyromusical show titled “Incendio dei Voltoni” will light up the Canale di Mezzo at 7:30 PM. Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy local dishes at the Sub Club Peschiera Association’s venue and participate in free boat rides along the UNESCO heritage Venetian walls, as well as visit local museums dedicated to history and fishing.
