An important leadership change at Coldiretti Brescia was announced during the Board Meeting held this morning at the Olivini winery. Starting from January 1st, Andrea Repossini will officially take on the role of Director, succeeding Massimo Albano, who has led the organization for nine years. Repossini, 59, has a long career with Coldiretti and previously directed the provincial federations of Sondrio and Turin. His appointment comes at a crucial time for sustainable agriculture, where he will face significant challenges such as ecological transition and the strengthening of local businesses.
In his address, Repossini expressed his commitment to promoting the region’s excellence and ensuring the development of a competitive agriculture that is attentive to the needs of the communities. Massimo Albano thanked everyone for the opportunity to work alongside farmers, while Laura Facchetti, President of Coldiretti Brescia, emphasized the importance of continuity in supporting Brescia’s agriculture through a leadership that combines experience and innovation. With this transition, Coldiretti Brescia continues to represent a fundamental pillar for the agri-food sector in the province.
