Tignale and Prabione are preparing to welcome Christmas 2024 with a series of events that blend tradition, culture, and fun for all ages. From the authentic flavors of the **Sagra dei Marù** to the magic of Charles Dickens’ storytelling, residents and visitors alike will be able to immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere.
The **Sagra dei Marù**, organized by the “I Magoregn” group of the Prabione Tutto l’Anno association, will take place on Sunday, December 8, at the former school on Via G. Pascoli in Prabione di Tignale. The day will kick off with a solemn Mass at 9:00 AM in the Church of San Zenone, followed by the opening of the food stand at 12:30 PM. Guests will be able to savor a delicious spit-roast with polenta and sweets, accompanied by the traditional tombola and the distribution of chestnuts and mulled wine. Additionally, throughout the event, there will be a craft market.
On Monday, December 23, the auditorium in Gardola will host the theatrical performance “A Christmas Carol,” freely adapted from the famous tale by Charles Dickens. Presented by the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Tignale, the show will begin at 8:30 PM with free admission, offering the audience an unforgettable Christmas experience.
On Sunday, December 15, Gardola will welcome the **Tignale a Natale** event, which will transform the Ginestre square into a place of music, games, and creativity. Scheduled to start at 1:30 PM, the event will include creative workshops for children and teenagers, circus performances, Christmas-themed face painting, and a caricaturist for guaranteed fun. The day will culminate with the **Junior Band Concert** at the Gardola auditorium at 4:30 PM, featuring a special performance by the Youth Band of Rezzato. To warm up the atmosphere, mulled wine will be offered at the end of the event.
