Christmas in Sirmione: the calendar of holiday events that will enliven the city until January 6, 2025, has been unveiled. This year, Sirmione transforms into a magical stage of lights and sounds, with initiatives designed to engage both tourists and residents. Among the main attractions will be the Festival of Lights, which will take place on Saturday, November 30, at 5:00 PM in Piazzale Porto, as well as a series of concerts, dance performances, and art exhibitions, including one dedicated to local artists titled “If You Look at the World Through a Porthole.” Mayor Luisa Lavelli emphasized the importance of these events in creating an atmosphere of sharing and human warmth.
The program also includes culinary activities, gospel concerts, and an ice skating rink open until January 6. Every corner of the city will be festively illuminated, making Sirmione an ideal place to fully experience the magic of Christmas. Tourism Councillor Riccardo Genovesi highlighted how such events are essential for seasonally diversifying tourist flows, providing new economic opportunities for the local community through cultural and gastronomic experiences.
