On **December 16th**, the traditional **Christmas Mass** dedicated to local school students took place at the Cathedral of **Salò**, with the participation of the renowned priest **Don Fabio Corazzina**. The celebration was attended by numerous boys and girls from primary and secondary schools, welcomed by the parish priest Mons. Gian Luigi Carminati. This event, which has been held for over ten years, included songs performed by the choir of the Enrico Medi Institute and an interactive homily in which Don Corazzina engaged the young attendees using symbolic objects.
During the homily, the priest shared touching stories using cookies and a toy car to illustrate the life of a Syrian child recently freed after seven years of captivity. He then displayed a landmine as a symbol of the future choices facing the young people, inviting them to reflect on how they wish to dedicate their lives: for the common good or for personal gain. The celebration concluded with heartfelt wishes for a peaceful Christmas directed towards the students and their teachers.
