The Cineforum Riva del Garda returns with its series of film screenings, offering a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to delve deeper into the world of films, directors, and genres. The event, titled “Lunedì Cinema,” will take place on various dates and locations, alternating between the auditorium of the Conservatorio in Riva del Garda and Palazzo dei Panni in Arco. This year’s program includes five thematic cycles featuring a total of sixteen films. The first screening in Riva del Garda is scheduled for February 24 with the showing of Chaplin’s “A King in New York.”
The subsequent screenings in Arco will begin on March 3 with Raoul Ruiz’s “Klimt,” followed by other titles such as Giorgio Diritti’s “I Wanted to Hide” and Stanley Tucci’s “Final Portrait: The Art of Being Friends” until March 17. Starting on March 24, Riva del Garda will host a series dedicated to Montgomery Clift, featuring iconic works like “A Place in the Sun” and “I Confess.” The events will continue until April 7 with the presentation of Elia Kazan’s “Mud on the Stars,” promising evenings rich in culture and reflection on the world of cinema.
