On the night between Saturday, November 9, and Sunday, November 10, the A4 motorway will be closed to traffic between the Desenzano and Sirmione toll booths, from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This closure has been scheduled to facilitate the launching of the new overpass (former 244) at kilometer 250+350, as part of the works for the construction of the Brescia-Verona section of the High-Speed Turin-Venice railway, managed by the Cepav Due consortium.
Travelers heading to Milan will be diverted at the Sirmione toll booth and can continue on the S.R.11 to re-enter the motorway at Desenzano. Conversely, those traveling towards Venice will need to exit at the Desenzano toll booth and use the S.R.11 to return to the A4 at Sirmione. During the same hours, the entry ramps towards Milan from Sirmione and towards Venice from Desenzano will also be closed.
