Montichiari: Primary School “Falcone” Closed Early Due to Mouse Infestation. The decision to suspend educational activities was made on Friday by Mayor Marco Togni, after the Principal of IC2, Dr. Sabina Stefano, reported an invasion of house mice within the facility. A joint inspection conducted at 2:30 PM with Eurogreen Lab S.r.l., the company responsible for the rodent control plan, confirmed the absence of rats, which are considered more problematic from a hygiene and health standpoint.
The mayor explained that traditional traps are ineffective for house mice, and these will be replaced with glue traps to address the issue. Since tomorrow marks the last day of school before the Christmas holidays, it was decided to close the Falcone school to ensure a swift resolution to the situation. The company will be present the following morning to install the new traps necessary for rodent control.
